What this is
A 6"-capacity C-clamp from IRWIN’s Quick-Grip 100 Series, with a double-rolled thread and a larger swivel pad than IRWIN’s smaller models in the same series. It’s a new brand in our C-clamps comparison lineup, which currently covers Bessey and a generic budget iron clamp.

Source: Acme Tools, Toolup, and Konstruction Supply independently list matching 6" capacity, 3-1/2" throat depth, and 900 lb clamping pressure for this model — treated as confirmed since multiple independent retailers agree. One listing (usatooldepot.com) stated a 7" throat depth that didn’t match any other source and looked like a data error; we’re not repeating it.
IRWIN Quick-Grip 225106 C-Clamp (6")
Part of IRWIN's Quick-Grip 100 Series, also sold in 4" and other sizes with the same double-rolled-thread design.
View Price on AmazonWho this is for
General workshop holding where a 900 lb-rated, manufacturer-documented force figure matters — this is a clearer published number than what we found for the Bessey B-HS8 in our C-clamps comparison.
Who this isn’t for
If you need more than 6" of clamping capacity, the Bessey B-HS8 and Olympia Tools 38-148 both reach 8" — see the Olympia Tools C-clamp product page or the C-clamps comparison for the larger options.
Bottom line
Multiple independent retailers agree on the core specs, but this is still a cross-referenced spec writeup, not a hands-on test. On paper the standout is a clearly documented 900 lb force rating, which not every C-clamp on this site publishes — including the WEN CLC630, a same-size-class 2-pack that doesn’t publish a comparable figure. IRWIN Quick-Grip 225106 if a confirmed force rating matters to your buying decision.
