What this is
A traditional wooden handscrew clamp — a genuinely different design from every other clamp on this site. Instead of one screw driving a jaw straight at a fixed parallel angle, two independent steel spindles let you angle the hard maple jaws to match a non-parallel or irregular workpiece, then tighten evenly across a broad wood face. This is a design that predates modern parallel clamps and is still made largely unchanged because the independently-adjustable jaw angle solves a problem fixed-jaw clamps can’t.

Independently-adjustable jaw angle lets it grip tapered or irregular workpieces that a fixed-parallel-jaw clamp can't seat against evenly. Wood jaws also won't mark or mar a finished surface the way a metal pad can.

Manufacturer-sourced dimensions, not a hands-on test — we haven’t checked jaw-angle grip on a real tapered workpiece.
